My Runway Health

I started consulting a startup building a new financial planning and budgeting app for startups, small businesses and non-profits. It has been an amazing journey being part of an innovative team designing something from scratch and using AI. My role has been on product strategy in envisioning and roadmap for the direction of the user experience then turned to execution of building the design system. I used AI tools like Claude, Builder.IO and Vibe coding in helping speed up my workflow and focus on key areas of innovation.

I started by using AI to brainstorm ideas, perform market research and build concept screens. This accelerated things and got us talking about the things we need to figure out, and it helped us get ideas in front of customers. We did a lot of interviews and user testing. It’s amazing to see how tools are evolving so quickly. I took the concepts and then built the entire design system in Figma. This was based on using Tailwind. We customized it to fit our needs and used Figma to drive the product forward. Another part of experience has been the Chat experience that will help the user with insights and answer business questions. AI is key part of this experience for business planning and forecasting.
