Stealthy Squirrel

Inspired by a walk near Issaquah Creek at Confluence Park. Another Bullitt adventure! What happens next is not going to be pleasant!

Rhino

This is a painting I am working of a rhino. Believe it or not, these massive creatures can run 30-40 miles per hour! And they can weigh over 3 tons. They are a force of nature that are amazing to watch.

Bullitt and the Bobcat

Bullitt was boarded at a 10 acre farm in the Preston area that is secure with lots of room for dogs to play. It was the only place Bullitt liked to stay when we travel. Even though Bullitt is only a 28lb Jack Russell Cattle Dog mix, he believes it his duty to protect and serve his friends, which includes patrolling the perimeter of the property. But then one early morning Bullitt went missing. A big cat broke through the fence and Bullitt was gone. There was blood, patches of white fur and big claw marks where a Bobcat clawed its way through the fence. Just when we had lost hope, Bullitt was sighted miles away. He miraculously survived the attack. The blood at the fence was not his own but the attacker. He had minor scratches. I am creating a 2D animated short that will tell Bullitt’s story.

Issaquah Art Walks

It has been a blast sharing my art at the Issaquah Art Walks. I have met some really fun and interesting people. Great conversations and sharing of stories. I love when my art speaks to a complete stranger and I get to know them and hear their stories.
